Egy kicsi gyermek sir keservesen,
Odamegy valaki (semmibe sem kerül)
Felemeli, játszik is vele,
Amig a mamája elő nem kerül.
Aztán nem várva köszönetet,
Hamar tovább áll szerényen.
Amott segít egy vak néninek
Az úton átmenni éppen.
Ki ez az ember? Talán más, talán én.
Talán soha ki nem derül.
Fontos a szándék, s hogy élni másként
Nem érdemes, csak emberül.
Honesty
Somebody goes to there (it costs nothing)
Where a little baby is crying its heart out.
He lifts the child up makes it laugh playing
Until with a sigh of relief the Mammy turns up.
Then not waiting for any thanks
He runs off being modest
And he is just helping in the crossing
A blind old woman who is in poor health.
Who is he? Maybe I or other.
Perhaps this never comes to light.
