Félbeszakadt egy mondat ajkamon,
többé sajnos nem folytathatom.
Mint egy zúgó sodró áradat,
ércébõl kivált egy gondolat,
szelid mosolyt festett arcomra,
mézes szavakat ültetett ajkamra
s a boldogságból font koszorút nekem,
Ám Te a koszorút tövisre cserélted,
mézes szavam tőled keserűséggé lett,
mosolygó szemembe könnyet csalt beszéded,
igazi arcodat hamisra cserélted,
s ezt az álarcot mutattad nekem...
És a félbeszakadt mondatom
többé sajnos nem folytathatom.
A sentence has broken off.
I can't go on with it anymore.
As the water springs from a fountain
a sweet idea came up me.
That painted a tender smile on my face.
On my lips the words are all sugar and honey
And that waved a wreath from happiness to me
but you changed it for a thorn-wreath.
Because of you my honeyed words became bitter tastes
and smiling eyes burst into tears.
You changed your true face for a false
showing this mask you closed the doors...
